One of our favorite activities is to explore Loon Lake by canoe or kayak. We provide a variety of boats at each place (see each listing for specifics) along with all paddles, adult life vests (children require specific fit so please bring life vests for any children and they must wear them when in boats, it is optional but recommended for adults.) These boats are only for use on Loon Lake, if you want to explore other nearby bodies of water please bring your own personal watercraft. It is very important that if your personal watercraft has recently been in another body of water that you thoroughly clean the bottom of your boat with a mild bleach/water solution. There is more info about that at this link. Loon Lake is free of invasive species and we would like to keep it that way. Sorry but we do not allow motor boats of any kind and there are no exceptions.
There are many opportunities to canoe and kayak in the Saranac Lake region. There is tons of information at this link.
